Is GC's Colobro leaving after season?

That is the rumor going around. I know he did apply for the head coaching job at Sullivan Central last year.

If he does leave or retire who coaches GC? Darren Reed? Who else would apply? It seems like there would be alot of people who would be interested.

Who knows what would be best for Gate City's program! I believe that it does need some help from our fans. We sit too quiet on the sidlines. Win or lose make some noise for our boys. If a new coach will spark a new life into our players and fans by all means we need a new coach. But we can't say that Coach Colobro hasn't helped us win a lot of games and send us several times to a championship game. In fact didn't we bring some trophies home? We don't like some of his decisions but if he waited on all the fans to decide what plays to run we would lose a lot of games. I love the old Harry Fry football plays. Run for a few yards and a cloud of dust. Execute your blocks! Wrap your arms on a tackle and pick em up and slam em' to the ground if you can or leave your arms locked till help arrives. The game is simple my friends it's just played hard by the good teams.But we do have a new football era on us and the game has changed a little but you can't change or take the GATE CITY BLUE DEVIL out of me. Let's just support our team and the best result on the coaching decision will come from that. #72 from the 70's

Harry Fry and Nick Colobro have been the only two head coaches at Gate City since 1953.They are/were both old school.What/who/ how would you look for a new coach if Nick were to retire? Its not 3 yards and a cloud of dust anymore.If I heard correctly Nick has a better winning record now than Harry did when he retired.
